Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao to strengthen EU relationship

Wednesday, October 21st, 2009

The premier of China Wen Jiaboa has recently visited the EU and specifically Brussels to try and strengthen the relationship between the Eu and China. Jiaboa met with other EU leaders such as European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso and Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Mirek Topolanek. During their meetings they not only vowed to “positively change the UN economic outlook for December 2009 in Copenhagen, Denmark” but they were also able to sign nine agreements, covering health, customs, education, intellectual property rights, environment and civil aviation. This all signals a broader and deeper relationship for China and the EU.
